“So romantic and much more than what we dreamed of, thank you.”
We take great consideration to ensure that your special occasion is exceptional. We can assist you with catering, flowers, professional photographers, guest arrangements, daily activities and much more.
Your choice of ceremony and proceedings can be tailored to your specific requirements. Contact us to plan your dream wedding day (and honeymoon safari).
Bridal couples can also get married with a World Heritage Site lake providing a never-to-be-forgotten backdrop. The really adventurous couple could take their vows standing next to hippos and crocodiles at Muzi Pan. Canoes are used to ferry the bride & groom to/fro instead of cars.
Our experienced local florists will happily prepare fresh flowers according to your colour scheme and flower choice (where possible) for your bridal bouquet, button-holes, hair decorations. Magnificent flowers arrangements can also be made for the bridal and guest tables, the church and reception. We’ll also line the pathway to your “Secrets of the Forest” honeymoon suite with rose petals.
Catering can be arranged for groups of up to 70 persons. You can choose for traditional South African cuisine in a buffet-style dinner, or perhaps light finger food takes your preference to a hot meal? Let us know what your specific culinary requirements are. We’ll do our best to delight you. There is a comprehensive list of Cape Wines to choose from, as well as a full bar service.
A full audio system is available; alternatively, you may prefer us to arrange your own choice of music. Professional DJ’s and musicians (e.g. live Jazz band, small orchestra bands) can also be arranged.
Surprise your wedding guests with uniquely South African gifts, like hand-crafted beadwork or hand-woven basket gifts. These original wedding favors will delight your family and friends, and at the same time, you will be supporting the local Zulu communities.
Wire art and woven baskets also make great table decorations, which time permitting, could be made especially for you, for instance with your initials woven into the decoration.
We’ll happily assist you with planning your wedding, whether you’d like a traditional or an “Out Of Africa” style wedding. A Zulu cultural theme is also possible, where the bridal couple adorns traditional African dress. Zulu dancers and/or Zulu choirs can also be arranged.
Leopard Walk Lodge can accommodate up to 16 persons sharing. If your wedding party is larger, then we can arrange accommodation close to our venue on your behalf. It goes without saying that the honeymoon suite is reserved for the Happy Couple!
Exclusivity is guaranteed for our wedding parties as no other guests are allowed at Leopard Walk Lodge during this time. In so doing, we are able to focus our full attention on your special occassion.
Contact us to discuss your wedding requirements and achieve your dream of tying the knot and celebrating your union in Africa. Naturally you could enjoy your honeymoon at Leopard Walk Lodge too.
