Gavin Chabant runs Gav Goodfella, a personal shuttle service based in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal. He's a family man and a true people person, and the idea for his business grew out of years of driving his own elderly parents wherever they needed to go.
When you book with Gavin, you're not handed over to a call centre or a different driver on the day. You deal with him directly, from the first message to the moment he drops you at our reception.

Most of our guests fly into Durban. Gavin will meet you at arrivals and drive you the scenic three hours up the N2 to the lodge, so your safari starts the moment you land.

Common questions
How do I book a transfer?
WhatsApp, call or email Gavin directly using the details below, or book online at gavgoodfella.co.za. You're also welcome to mention your transfer when you book your stay with us, and we'll put you in touch.
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, ideally when you book your flights. Gavin is a personal service rather than a large fleet, so booking ahead secures your date. Please allow at least 48 hours' notice.
What if my flight is delayed?
Send Gavin your flight number when you book and keep him updated on WhatsApp if your plans change. He'll do his best to adjust your pickup.
How do I pay?
You pay Gavin directly, by cash, EFT or credit card. Transfers are not included in your lodge invoice.
Can Gavin take us to activities during our stay?
Gavin is based near Durban, so he focuses on airport and longer-distance transfers. If you need transport to game drives or other activities during your stay, let us know when you book and we'll help you arrange it.
