Often rhino with exceptionally long horns are seen during game drives in Hluhluwe Game Reserve.  We are able to assist you by arranging game viewing in an open game drive vehicle to Hluhluwe Game Reserve with a qualified guide or you may self drive through the reserve. 

In Hluhluwe Game Reserve Operation Rhino in the 1950s and 60s became world renowned as the first  white rhino conservation project saving the species from extinction.
There were less than 20 rhinos world wide in 1900. Today more than 10,000 exist with over 1600 white rhino in the reserve and thousands of these magnificent animals are now also found in game reserves around the world.
