Leopard Walk Lodge is home to many different species, a number of which are registered In the Red Data Book, as needing protection without which they could become extinct.
One of our favourite animals is the diminutive Suni antelope. It is tiny and very secretive. A newborn Suni could fit into a teacup. Not to be mistaken for the red duiker which are often seen, Suni are less common and hide quickly, when alerted, should anyone be walking nearby. The difference between Suni and Red duiker is that the Suni has a white underside and it also has a rounded back; making it easy to dart into the bush.
When visiting Leopard Walk Lodge, keep an eye open for this special little species of antelope!
