Universal Access Facility
Leopard Walk Lodge has a firm ethos of providing accommodation for mobility challenged persons.
Leopard Walk Lodge has recently become signatory to the South African Government’s commitment to Universal Access and it has upgraded accessible and inclusive facilities and accommodation options for all visitors, so that no one should be excluded from Life’s tourism experience.
Janet explains: “ The disabled may seem to be – the others – but all too soon every person grows old and they will also have needs – hearing sight, mobility…. etc that should be met inclusive of design.”
The bathroom also has extra bars and support handles added to fully accommodate various access requirements when necessary
Activities are arranged to ensure safe and workable excursions and exciting options for all and they include:
- Boat viewing of hippo and crocks
- Game drives through World renowned Big Five Reserve
- Elephant interaction Experience
- Wild cats / cheetah interaction
- Snorkeling and scuba diving!
- Friendly Zulu Cultural Interaction is also a great time opportunity for all.
