Scuba or Skin Dive World Renowned Marine Reserve
You will be able to enjoy a favorite choice excursion from Leopard Walk Lodge to visit the marine reserve in the World Natural Heritage Site at Sodwana Bay, where many activities are available including scuba and skin diving, walking or horse riding on the magnificent endless white beach and enjoying the warm ocean.
Not far from Hluhluwe and leopard Walk Lodge is Sodwana Bay which is South Africa’s most popular dive destination with 1200 species of fish and a diverse array of hard and soft corals. Dolphins and turtles are also regularly sighted over this reef system. Seven mile reef is considered to be one of the best dive sites in the world. In season whale sharks and ragged-tooth sharks are often seen as well as whales returning south with their calves close behind.
If you would like to arrange a dive course we will be able to assist you or you may just need to book your scuba or skin dives. For those who would like to only venture close to the shore line, a magnificent snorkeling experience is also available alongside the shore coral and rock reefs. Horse rides and just enjoying the endless white beaches and warm sea and sun are a popular excursion available to all.
